The club has sections for gliders, aircraft modelers, precision flying, aircraft designers, seniors – veterans, and young gliders.

Organizator

The club organises the Republic of Lithuania gliding and model aircraft championships.

Participant

The club’s athletes participate in Lithuanian, European and World Championships.

Flight School

The club is authorised to train and retrain amateur pilots PPL(A), light aircraft pilots LAPL(A), and glider pilot, SPL, SEP. We invite everyone who wants to become a pilot.

Feel the Power of Flight!

The first serious talks about establishing an aviation sports club in Biržai began in 1963. One of the biggest enthusiasts was Vytautas Pačinskas, who learned to fly at the Pociūnai airfield with famous glider pilot and flight instructor V. Dovydaitis and moved to Biržai with his family. Vilius Juodgudis, who at that time worked as a passenger bus driver at the Biržai road transport company. Some Biržai residents still remember how, while driving with passengers to Bauska, Vilius Juodgudis would stop at the Bauska airfield and watch the gliders fly. He would usually explain to the passengers that the “paziukas” (bus) had broken down, but that he would fix it right away.
